react-native-gifted-chat💬 The most complete chat UI for React Native
This is most complete package a dev can ask for. I recently integrated the package to achieve the Chat UI, it can be customised quite easily, The end product with this package was near perfect to iMessage native app. Though the documentation is not great, but it still does the job.

lottie-iosAn iOS library to natively render After Effects vector animations
I used this library in my couple of projects, where I had to show the custom food and motorbike related interactive loaders, it came like a boon to me, with the addition of this my app looked pretty attractive whenever the loader came up. The documentation is pretty good and its usage is even simple. But some times the animations slows down a bit, while working on multiple threads, but still a good library to work on.
react-native-paperMaterial Design for React Native (Android & iOS)
A beautiful written and designed package with material support without installing other material dependency. I used this package to provide material support on my iOS app and it worked like charm, it has almost everything buttons, loader, navigation bar and so on.. It is must use package if an app is needs material look and feel. - Tons of documentation - Backed by examples and an active community
firebaseFirebase Javascript SDK
If you don't have a server, no worries Firebase is your buddy. I have done a lot of practice project with Firebase. It is easy to use, secure and well maintained. It has everything in it. I have achieved realtime location tracking in one of my apps and all thanks to Firebase. - Auth - Realtime Database - Push Notification Support - Analytics - Bug Tracker(iOS and Android)
mongodbThe Official MongoDB Node.js Driver
This package is proven divine for me, because I had trouble remembering SQL queries but with MongoDB no hassle of such things. It is highly scalable and performant NoSQL database. MongoDB is the backbone of my two huge projects. The documentation is pretty neat clean even a newbie can dive into it. I highly recommend MongoDB who have trouble dealing with SQL.

hapi-swaggerA Swagger interface for HAPI
This is such a time saver package, I have been using this since last year. It has completely removed the manual API documentation, with the help of this package I could manage to create a API interactive environment for my front end team, though its a bit confusing for the first time user. I believe the documentation can be improved a little.

react-native-fsNative filesystem access for react-native
I used this package in one of my prof projects where I needed to access the internal storage(native file system) of device to save and retrieve some information in a quick session. With minimal use of code I was able to achieve the same on both iOS and Android. Good examples given for both the platforms.
lottie-react-nativeLottie wrapper for React Native.
Coolest package I have ever used, I had make an animation rich splash for my travel based app and this package did an amazing job for me. I used the same on iOS and it works like charm even for cross platform. Best thing about the package is if we can always create our own animation on their website too.
momentParse, validate, manipulate, and display dates in javascript.
It used to be an essential library when I started working with JS. No matter what format you required, one can easily create into it. I have used the same in many of projects where I had to manage timezone issues. Though it is shame that is not being maintained now, but it did help a lot of developers.
jestDelightful JavaScript Testing.
A goto package for most of developers, I was not aware that we could write test cases in JavaScript(LOL) until I found a tutorial about the package. Best thing about the package, doesn't have to have extra configs in the code, tons of useful options and very well maintained and backed by Facebook.

Easy to Use
Performant
Great Documentation

It is one of my favourite framework, UUID is an in built feature when working with native iOS apps, but this is no different it solves the same purpose providing unique combination, it already has in built UUID checker which removes any future collision with same UUID.

Great Documentation
Easy to Use

Highly Customizable

One of my favourite packages to deal with, it has wide range of customised methods to use, though the usage is being reduced these days, as JS is already providing such in built methods to enhance the performance, it held the fort for long time for developers.

react-native-tesseract-ocrTesseract OCR wrapper for React Native
Easy to Use

I used package once to play with OCR scanning, its performance is a little bit on the lower side as compare to Apple's own framework. But it still produces good results, if bounded to work with React-Native.

This is a go to wrapper when dealing with Facebook login in react apps. Methods are pretty simple and easy to use built on top of promises which is good thing. It is being backed by Facebook itself, so haven't encountered any problem so far.
